The wills stored here are mainly Mid-Sussex orientated. At the moment a large number are closely linked to the family of Thomas Marchant, the 18th century Hurstpierpoint diarist. However this predominance will diminish somewhat as we spread out to a larger catchment area of people from Mid-Sussex but not neccesarily related to the Marchant family.
